We’ve stumbled upon some other stories that may fancy your sense of humor this morning, but Omar Bravo’s transfer to Deportivo La Coruña left us puzzled and seeking refuge via downing a Tecate at 9am. What the hell is he thinking transferring to Spanish club Deportivo La Coruña? Bravo is destined to team up with fellow compatriot Andres Guaradado, but his decision seems haste and misdirected. For one, it’s a mistake to try and play in Spain with a shitty club. Secondly, Bravo is a stinkin’ Chiva. It’s like Michael Jordan heading to the Wizards, yo. It’s wrong.
Mexican forward Omar Bravo left Chivas del Guadalajara soccer club to move to the Spain’s Chivas, club vice president Nestor de la Torre announced Thursday.
“Yesterday I had a meeting with Omar Bravo and his manager. I was notified that he has an agreement with La Coruna club of Spain, therefore he concluded his tie with the institution,” De la Torre said in a press conference.
After seven years, Bravo finished his contract with the only team that aligns only Mexicans, therefore, according to the FIFA’s(International Federation of Association Football) regulation, he could join the club that better suits him.
Say goodbye to praise and distinction, brah. Good thing there’s 475 “Chupiterias” (shot bars) on every corner in Spain that will curb his panic-attacks. Ugh. Fine. The best of luck getting your team up in the rankings. They were runners up in 2002 so, yeah, there’s hope, or something.
