Dallas Cowboys’ fans should rejoice if the rumors are true that Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson are officially over. We’re ecstatic because this means Tony Romo’s grandparents may weigh in on the matter and another serenade would be grand. So what’s the scoop?

According to TheseBootsAreMadeforStalking.com, the football player spent a rowdy weekend in Chicago with several college friends where he allegedly admitted that he and Simpson had ended their relationship.
“He told us they broke up and that was that. We’re guys so we didn’t talk about it much,” a friend of Romo’s told the blog.
Meanwhile, the Cowboy spent his time “surrounded by girls,” an eyewitness who saw the group at a nightclub in the Windy City, said.
Another source added, “He zeroed in on one blonde all night. That blonde wasn’t Jessica Simpson.”

To think, it was only two weeks ago that the couple was making hot, sexy, cake-smearing love in public with all of their friends. At least Tony Romo can get on with his career and Joe Simpson will have his Barbie back. What do you think: rumor, or fact?
