Sergio Garcia Is A Champion And An Honest Man

Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia lifted the demons off of his burly chest to capture the Players Championship with a one-hole playoff victory against Paul Goydos (like Gordito! Ha!). Garcia, usually coined as a bad putter, made up for the media’s constant sandblasting by making a tough, seven-foot putt on the 18th hole that sent the tournament into a playoff run. After Paul Goydos (Or panson. Your choice.) hurled his ball into the water, the runway of victory was paved for Garcia as he eventually shushed the shit out of his critics.
However, there was an extraterrestrial force that Garcia didn’t have to deal with during his run. A force so powerful that shutterbugs on the sidelines of a fairway have been silenced for eternity. A force so illustrious and grand that golf balls are controlled with him mind. That force is Tiger Woods; and Sergio Garcia thanked him, after the jump, for not being at the tournament this weekend.
