Not every tech story has to be bleeding-edge, brand new for it to be interesting. Take this video, which is a sort of mini-documentary about the German artist (Julius Popp) who designed Bit.Fall. As you’ll see in the video, Bit.Fall is a waterfall-like art installation that spells out words. That is, as the water falls, it comes out in the shape of letters and words.

Every word and letter is programmed by a nearby computer. As the words fall, they quickly dissolve, giving on-lookers that strange “art is fleeting, what is the meaning of life?” feeling.
And if you’ve got the time, YouTube is filled with all sorts of related along the lines of Bit.Fall. Notably, there’s other videos of Bit.Fall itself (at MOMA in New York), and a similar project, Bit.Flow.
