Breaking News: Maria Sharapova Will Not Wear Sexy Dresses During Wimbeldon.

Tennis’ oldest competitive event will be sans Maria Sharapova glitz after the formerly ranked number one seeded women’s tennis player disclosed that she was going with a more “classic” look during this year’s tournament. Which means Wimbeldon just lost the 18-24 audience that tuned in for upskirt shots.

While practising at the All England Club yesterday she teased fans by saying: “I’m going to be debuting a new look.

“I’m going with the traditional shorts, believe it or not”, she said. “I’ve never worn shorts at a Grand Slam. Call it menswear, obviously. It’s kind of a tuxedo look, very simple lines, classic.”

Wimbeldon is notoriously traditional, with dress codes being strictly enforced, and the more classic look will probably upset someone. Not us, though. We’re still tuning in for the grunts and the fist pumps. Ugh!
