Cristiano Ronaldo Marks More Territory With Icelandic Soccerade Drink

Hey, it’s Friday. We’re blogging from a cafe on a street overrun by foliage glistening in the sun. We just found this picture of Cristiano Ronaldo photoshopped alongside a bottle of Icelandic Soccerade and it made us laugh. Apparently he’s been contracted, (for an undisclosed fee), to be the face of a new sports drink that’s about to hit Icelandic 7-Elevens next month. No word on the ingredients included, or what this drink tastes like, but the gurus at Soccerade guarantee absolutely nothing. We’re not even sure why his face is on there. It’s like those David Beckham condoms in China. For some reason, drinking a beverage with Ronaldo’s visage plastered on your palm doesn’t sound fun at all.
