Drunk Driver Plows Into Bike Race In Monterrey, Mexico

Ever heard of a drunk bicyclist plowing into 15 cars and killing one person? Of course you haven’t. It’s because drunk bicyclists look like this and rarely cause damage. Unfortunately, a bike race in Monterrey, Mexico suffered the horrific consequence of getting plowed into by a drunken driver. 28 year old Juan Campos fell asleep at the wheel and his car careened straight into bicyclists racing “along a highway between Playa Bagdad and Matamoros.” Everyday we consider hopping on our bike and taking a ride up 5th Ave, and everyday we end up sweating profusely in our jeans and walking 40 blocks to Central Park because we fear taxi drivers.
