Free From Trannygate, Oscar De La Hoya Plans His Swan Mariachi

Well, someone’s feeling confident–and we know now it’s not because of he got a new pair of boy shorts with hidden panty lines. Yes, we’re talking about Oscar De La Hoya, who announced during a tour to promote his new autobiography, American Son, that his next fight is going to be his last–and he knows who he wants to slug it out with. the Golden Boy is telling everyone who’ll listen that he wants that last dance around the ring to be with Floyd Mayweather Jr., if he can fit it into his wresting/dancing/ money-tossing schedule.

“One more and that’s it. … This is my final year. I’m doing one fight and hanging up the gloves,” De La Hoya told Reuters…De La Hoya threw down the gauntlet to the recently retired Floyd Mayweather Jr, saying if Mayweather wanted to fight him again it had to be soon.

“The time is running out. If Mayweather is playing these little games thinking he can catch me at an older age next year, it’s not going to happen. It has to happen by this year,” said De La Hoya.

Too bad we didn’t see the video of this when after his rant, he threw his chocolate milk on the floor, started stomping on the ground and threatened to hold his breath until Mayweather gave in.
