Some sponsors are really annoying: Pepsi on every single Mexican jersey, Seimens on Real Madrid and Budweiser on River Plate jerseys never really rubbed us the right way. But others can be more than playful. Take Hooters restaurant/bar/stripper school. They’re cashing in big with a newly devised deal that will place their iconic Owl logo on the stirrups of Big Brown’s jockey.

The owners of Triple Crown contender Big Brown have sold sponsorship of the jockey’s silks to the well-endowed restaurant chain.
The buxom brand’s logo - which features an owl peering through the ‘OO’ in “Hooters” - will be emblazoned on Kent Desormeaux’s legs as his horse makes a bid to become the first Triple Crown winner in 30 years.

Before Hooters came in, UPS was the sole sponsor before the buxom babes were introduced. But, we have to admit, there’s a better way to celebrate Big Brown’s potential Triple Crown than having Joe Smith holding a scanner and giving a thumbs up. Cue tight shirts and babes.

And if Big Brown makes it to the winner’s circle, he will be greeted by busty Hooters girls in tightfitting T-shirts.
“We do have our logo right up on the jockey,” Mike McNeil, vice president of marketing for Hooters of America, told the Daily News.
“We’ll have Hooters execs and Hooters girls in the winner’s circle when the horse wins.”

America the beautiful, indeed.
