Whas Happened In Sports Last Night
- Copa Libertadores: Brazilian club Fluminese through the smack down on Argentine club Boca Juniors to reach it’s first finals. Looks like we’ll be shelving our “Megatone” jersey for the next few weeks. Fluminese 3, Boca Juniors 1. [IHT]
- Stanley Cup: The Stanley Cup is headed to Motown after the Detroit Red Wings cleared passed the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2. Apparently there was some “drama” but we never watch hockey so who cares. [ESPN]
- International Friendly: Argentina didn’t want to play nice last night as they delivered a humiliating blow to Mexico. Argentina scored three times in the first 30 minutes and never looked back. Good thing Esven was in San Diego to take it all in. Argentina 4, Mexico 1. [LA Times]
- Belmont Stakes: Big Brown will be starting off at the rail when he bids to become the first horse in 30+ years to win the Triple Crown. Does that effect our $5 bet in any way? [ESPN]
