Mexican Fire Hockey Called “Battle” Is Not An Olympic Sport

We actually had another video of this, but the Asia Brief guy stole the show with his correlation between this game and, er, soccer? More like hockey, buddy. Anyway, this is Mexican fire hockey, a.k.a. “Battle.” It’s part of festivities in Oaxaca that celebrate the local patron Saint. It also dates to pre-Hispanic times when unicorns roamed freely and drug cartels were only known as the “witchdoctor.” Those were the days. As you can see, this game is fucking great. Just don’t spill any tequila on your shirt and then join the game. Chest full of fire is never any fun.
