Wow, it looks like all the hooligan fascists hanging out in front of soccer stadiums aren’t all wannabe jerk-offs. Milivoj Asner, a 95-year-old former police chief for the Nazi-controlled Croatian government back in W-W-II and current Austrian resident, was spotted outside the stadium where the Croatian team was preparing to play their Euro 08 match. He was there with his wife, chatting up fellow Croats probably not talking about the fact he’s one of the most wanted Nazi fugitives in the world. Why not? In that crowd, a rep like that could probably net him a a few beers. It’s not like he’s going anywhere soon since Austria has refused to extradite him.

Efraim Zuroff, the head of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre, which tracks down Nazis around the world, told The Telegraph that the pictures and videos of Mr Asner circulating indicated that he was perfectly fit for a trial and that Austrian authorities were lenient towards cases like his.

He is the number four on the most wanted list of the Nazi-hunters and Croatia has demanded his extradition.

Number four? Pfft. If he’d gone to Argentina instead of Austria like the most of the brown shirt soccer fans, he would’ve definitely made number one on the list. Well, unless he had some competition from the Boys from Brazil.
