Last fall, racy pictures of Oscar De La Hoya dressed in drag were showcased all over the internet. Then, a few weeks after their inaugural appearance, De La Hoya’s legal team persuaded Milana Dravnel, the stripper who “took” the photos, to sign a document that established the pictures were “altered.” A bunch of mumbo-jumbo happened in between, but now the Daily News reports that photo experts concluded Trannygate was a bunch of hogwash.
“Oscar’s always claimed the photos were false,” said the boxer’s lawyer, Judd Burstein. “We had experts conclude that they were doctored. She was facing very large damages and so she agreed to drop the case. … The case would have been dismissed anyway.”
Dravnel’s lawyer, Salvatore Strazzullo, who paraded his stiletto-heeled client for the cameras after a February hearing in Manhattan Federal Court, was uncharacteristically mum yesterday.
“No comment,” is all he said.
Brilliant. Freaking. Photoshop. Job. Good thing his music’s still circulating somewhere in Corpus Christi, Texas, which means we can still make fun of him. Hey. What do you say we revisit those brilliant tranny pics one more time, shall we?
Nice.
