Hours after French Spiderman Alain Robert (Ro-Beeeear) scaled the New York Times‘ building for the sake of promoting a stop to Global Warming, Rey Clarke–a Brooklynite with a grudge against Malaria–decided to continue the trend by engaging in his own climb. Guanabee editor Cindy Casares acquired exclusive video from her roommate Monica Escobar of Rey beginning his ascent up 52 floors. From Guanabee:

“He’s been talking about doing this to raise awareness about malaria for over a month,” Monica told us. “I came back from lunch yesterday and found Rey with a look of doom and gloom on his face.” “Some French guy climbed my building,” he said. A half hour later he decided to do it, too.

The dude’s got cojones to the max. We hope you got your point across, Rey. But, since you’re a friend of a friend of a friend, we advise you to make an appointment with Jeffrey Sachs at Columbia University. The dude does want to raise $50 million for nets to be used in Africa in an effort to prevent Malaria, so, yeah. Anyway, glad you’re safe, meng. And, like, are you a pro climber or what?
