Ronaldinho Will Now Go By ‘Gordinho’

We’re always particular to slightly pudgy athletes that defy the odds. We realize most of them play baseball because there’s really no other sport an athlete isn’t canned for being a fatass. Take Manny Ramirez for example. He’s hardly emblematic of having an athlete’s “ideal” body, but the guy’s got a massive following because he’s great at what he does. Even though he plays for the BoSox, we say, “Thanks, Manny. Why do you play for a team the entire world hates?” Now, we can add another athlete to the mix of inspirational rotundalists: Ronaldinho, a.k.a. ‘Gordinho.’ The former Fifa World Player of the Year and Brazilian World Cup champ arrived at a charity soccer match in Venezuela looking rather hefty, but nimble. A video after the jump highlights that even though Ronaldinho is caring a five month old fetus in his belly, he’s still a force to be reckoned with.
