It looks like Shaq won’t be busting through anymore doors to fight crime–legally, at least–and he has his rapping skills to thank for that. Fresh off his not-so-fresh lyrical bitchslap of Kobe Bryant, Shaq has been asked to give back the mostly ceremonial Sheriff’s badge he got in Phoenix because of the language he used. Jesus, the last time he lost this much rapping was when Kazaam! came out and ruined his acting career. Well, he lost, we won.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said the Phoenix Suns center’s use of a racially derogatory word and other foul language left him no choice. Arpaio made Shaq a special deputy in January and promoted him to colonel of his largely ceremonial posse earlier this month.

“I want his two badges back,” Arpaio told The Associated Press on Tuesday. “Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they’re fired. I don’t condone this type of racial conduct.”

Yeah, that’s left to the fine profiling police officers who’ve passed the Police Academy, dammit!
