Tick Tick Tick…Ozzie Guillen And His Job Are Ready To Blow

Ozzie Guillen’s tenure as White Sox manager could be going the Hilary Clinton-for-Presidency route. And–surprise!–it’s because of his mouth. The White Sox’s anemic offense made him go off his meds on Sunday, telling anyone who would listen that there were going to be changes in his lineup, with or without his General Manager Kenny Williams’ help. So now, Ozzie’s at his Miami home waiting to see if he’ll get fired because he blew up on his first-place team. Forget Manny being Manny. Ozzie being Ozzie is the new crazy hotness.

After watching his club continue to struggle to score runs on Sunday, Guillen went off after the loss, saying, “If we think we are going to win with the offense we have, we are full of [bleep].’’

Williams obviously was disappointed to hear those comments, telling the Sun-Times during a phone interview, “It’s never a good idea to throw your boss under the bus, especially when that boss has had his back as much as I have. … I expect more of everyone in that uniform and certainly the guy leading the team on the field.’’

Yes, but what about a sex doll in uniform on the field? With the detriment Guillen’s been for the first-place team, maybe a muted blow-up doll as manager can get them to pull away early and put the division away for good.
