Cynthia Rodriguez Didn’t Want Alex Rodriguez To Eat Spanish Food, Be Brown People’s Hero

Alex Rodriguez is known throughout the sports world as the richest ball player that ever lived. He’s also known as one of the greatest hitters that ever lived. Also, he’s known for his less than impressive performances in the playoffs. He’s linked to these facts more than he’s linked to being a Dominican-American baseball player and that’s exactly how Cynthia Rodriguez wanted it.

“She said she wanted him to become a mainstream sports star,” says a source. “She didn’t want him typecast as a Latin player. She discouraged him from taking part in Hispanic community events.”
“She wouldn’t even let him eat Spanish food,” claims another source. “She didn’t like him hanging out with old buddies from Washington Heights.”

Hey, we’re not particular to jamon serrano and tortilla espanola either so it’s not that big of a deal. But not letting your man hang with his homies from da’ block is going to make any man go insane and it did.

“He said, ‘I hate this. I want out,’ but she kept insisting they could work it out,” says a source. “After about six months of him asking for a divorce, she said it was okay for him to see other people, but she wouldn’t agree to a separation.”

We wouldn’t want to separate ourselves from close to $300 million either. But now it makes complete sense as to why Joslyn Noel Morse was caught with Alex by the paps. It was all legit.
