Looks like we have another brilliant impersonator on the loose. Homboys at The Spoiler dropped us a tip about an Englishmen named Derek Williams (on the right with an awful Beckham lookalike) who conned Mexican soccer officials into giving him a grand tour of some facilities because, well, he looks exactly like Sven Goran Eriksson. Take that, Nicolas Cage impersonator who conned Real Madrid’s president.

Englishman Derek Williams was given a tour of Primera División outfit Universidad Nacional’s stadium – the Estadio Olímpico Universitario – yesterday morning after sending the club falsified documents which appeared to have come from the Mexican football federation. According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, nobody spotted the deception until the federation themselves released a statement later in the day.

“The real Eriksson is in the United States at the moment, and the character who has been claiming to be him is just a ringer,” railed the statement. “[Williams] has carried himself with a total lack of respect.”

Lack of respect, ey? Let us guess: he was completely smug, didn’t speak English so he couldn’t communicate with anyone and he kept picking his nose? Nah, man. That’s basically the exact replica of what you’re going to get.
