LA Man Charged With Running Illegal Cockfighting Ring, HeeHee.

Los Angeles police received a tip last month about a cockfight in progress in the 1300 block of East 108th Street, according to a police report.
Officers apprehended Ramirez and 10 of about 30 spectators who ran from the scene.
Ramirez allegedly told police that he held monthly cockfights at his home and charged spectators a $20 entrance fee, according to the police report.

It would be too easy to say these spectators ran around like chickens with their heads cut off because that’s exactly what we imagined when we first read the story. Our moody sister over at Guanabee recently posed the question if any of their readers had ever attended a cockfight. So now we ask you? What are your thoughts on this age-old tradition? Cruel? Fun?
