We bombarded you with news of Ronaldinho’s ever-expanding gut these last few weeks, but there’s actually some pertinent news about his career that has us betting quarters as to where he’ll end up this year. The latest is that Manchester City have signed off on a £25.5million bid, leaving AC Milan perusing through their books and trying to find a way to lure the two-time FIFA Player of the Year away from England. Either way, he looks to be headed out of the Nou Camp for good, and it’s a damn shame if you ask us.
Barcelona said: “The two sides agreed to allow two or three days to finalise the player’s move to one of the clubs interested in landing the Brazilian.”
If no deal is tied up in that time he will resume training with Barca.
We’ve grown accustomed to Ronaldinho participating in the “Clasico” between Real Madrid and Barcelona for years that we can’t fathom a clash without him. Whose going to have Madridistas cheering for Barcelona players in the future? Lionel Messi may invoke Madrid’s fans to halt Barcelona hating for a bit, but we really can’t see anyone else. Vote on where you think Ronaldinho will end up. We want to know who to bet on.
