After seven consecutive Olympics posts, we figured you all needed some aesthetic proliferation. While some artists are concerned with gathering hundreds of nudie enthusiasts to shed their clothes for the sake of art, other artists are merely intrigued by the ability for the human body to be arranged vertically. Sure, Spaniards stack humans to form a giant pyramid around once a year in Tarragona, but how many of those peeps stack themselves horizontally in closets, alleyways, and lawns, and allow a photographer to take their picture? Thero. Unless they’re in Vienna. From Complex:
On the streets of Vienna, art director Willi Dorner and photographer Lisa Rastl stacked humans on top of each other to create some unusual body sculptures for two projects: “Hangende Garten” and “Bodies In Urban Spaces”.
It won’t be long before hipsters pick up on the piece and turn it into a fad. “Oh look. Hipsters are stacking themselves in DUMBO again.” Pictures dooown below.
