When did it become ok to shoot journalists during a war? Huh? Tell us? For one Georgian reporter, the Russian/Georgian conflict turned a bit too real for her. While reporting on live television in Gori, cameras suddenly shifted and Georgian reporter Tamara Urushadze fell to the ground with studio anchors bewildered by what had just happened. Moments later, the reporter revealed she’d been shot by a sniper’s bullet but had the sense to step aside before four more bullets landed beside her. Remarkably, Tamara continued her report, bullet wound in tow, while assistants strapped a bulletproof vest on her. Seriously, this has “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not” written all over it! The dramatic video after the jump.
