Strolling through Austin tomorrow night and craving some Aztec mummy movie madness? Then don’t you worry your little bones because there’s a venue just for you.

In support of the current Aztec and Maya Revival exhibit, the museum is hosting a movie screening featuring the 1957 film La Momia Azteca (Attack of the Aztec Mummy), which features such b-movie standards as hypnosis, cursed mummies, hidden treasure, and reincarnated Aztec maidens.

When: Friday, August 15
Where: Mexic-Arte Museum (419 Congress Ave.)
Time & Admission: 7pm, free for museum members, $6 general public
So don’t head to theaters and watch the “Mummy III” with Brendan Frasier. Trust us. Don’t judge us because we watched it, but the movie is what you call, um, shite.
