- MLB: After almost coming back against the Brewers on Saturday, the Dodgers actually did walk off in the bottom of the ninth inning with a win when Andre Either hit his second home run of the game. The resurgent Dodgers are now four games above .500 and share the lead of the NL West with the Diamondbacks. [ESPN]
- Women’s 100 M: Jamaicans Shelly-Ann Fraser, Sherone Simpson and Kerron Stewart finished in that order in the Women’s 100 M finals, sweeping the medals for the event the night after fellow countryman Usain Bolt won the Men’s 100 M the night before and shattered his own world record. [NY Times]
