The Carolina Panthers were storming in the red zone with :02 left on the clock, no time-outs and down 24-19 when Daunte Rosario struck gold with a sensational catch in the endzone to steal the game from the San Diego Chargers, giving the Panthers a 26-24 win. It’s the type of game you crave after 7 1/2 months of dreaming for football. It’s the type of ending you wait for when you’re girlfriend is screaming at you to take out the trash and you’re jousting back with “there’s only :02 left! I’ll go right now!” Unless you were a Charger fan, you gladly rose from your couch, satisfied and ready to oblige with your daily chores. And how do you think Daunte Rosario felt? Pretty good, we bet. Until he saw who was confirmed as a “Player of the Game” by UPS. Check out the video of the last play of the game after the jump.
