Comic Amy Borkowsky is trying to raise three million dollars to place a personal ad on the Superbowl. The 40-something creator of long ago internet fameball, “Amy’s Answering Machine,” in which she introduced the world to actual phone messages from her insane, Jewish mother, has finally decided to try and make her now deceased mom’s dream come true by getting married. Unfortunately for Amy, the internet dating and bar scenes aren’t working, so she’s decided to cast a wider net. But, despite the media’s claim that ad spending is down this quarter, ad sales for the big game are at 85%–which is 35% higher than normal. If Amy doesn’t make it to her goal in time, she’s going to donate all the proceeds to the United Way. Additionally, Amy says no one should donate if they haven’t already made their house payment, contributed to their IRA and bought their kids a Wii or “any of life’s other necessities.” Sounds like a woman with a good head on her shoulders. For the rest of Amy’s stats, take a look after the jump.

If you’re interested, you could save her a few million by dropping her a line at her website. Or, if you want to donate, she’s still about $2,997,970 short.
