Goal Of The Day: Alessandro Del Piero Seems To Be Happy With His Score Against Real Madrid

As we mentioned earlier in Heads Up, Juventus snapped a month-long winning drought by beating Real Madrid in Champions League play, 2-1. Alessandro Del Piero kicked in the first score for Juve, a gorgeous 25-yard strike to the back of the net. According to Del Piero, this could get their season back in gear. It’s also a great win for a team that’s back in Champions League play for the first time since2005 after being banned because of that whole messy match-fixing scandal in 2005.
