Goal Of The Day: Samuel Eto’o Watches The Ball Bounce And Into The Net Against Athletic Bilbao

A lot of managers would’ve been burned at the stake if they rested two of their biggest stars while trying to catch up to the number one spot. But that’s what Barcelona’s Pep Guardiola did when he sat Lionel Messi and Xavi for their game against Athletic Bilbao. But that’s why he’s manager and they’re sitting behind a desk writing about sports and occasionally taking sips of pisco. The other Barca star, Samuel Eto’o, scored one of the more subtly beautiful goals we’ve seen around here in a long time to give the team a 1-0 win over Bilbao and to keep them three points from Valencia.
