Whas happened in sports last night.
- World Series Game Five: Ah, the Baseball Gods are a fickle lot, Philadelphia. Start talking about you World Series victory parade so openly makes the fifth game get rained out and waste a Cole Hamels start. They’ll resume their sixth inning, 2-2 tie tonight to see whether that parade happens this week, or if the series goes back to Tampa. [ESPN]
- NFL: Statement games are best done on a big stage, and the Tennessee Titans beat the Colts last night on Monday Night Football to stay undefeated and the team to beat in the NFL. [Tennessean]

- College Football: Former Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin wants to go back to the college ranks, in particular the newly vacated University of Washington gig. Hope it goes better than the last Raiders coach to take a college gig–Bill Callahan’s disastrous Nebraska job where they ran him out of town with pitchforks. [Sporting News]
