Barack Obama’s Moment Of Sports Shame Now Available On eBay

A Pennsylvania bowling alley proprietor is offering us the chance to own a piece of United States history. Lane #21 of the Pleasant Valley Recreation Center in Altoona, PA, where President-elect Barack Obama bowled a piss-poor 37 in seven frames, was put up for sale on eBay last night, with part of the proceeds going to charity.
This could be quite a conversation piece for any Republicans still super upset about the election results. When your guests ask why you have a bowling lane in the living room, you can jump right into mocking the new Presidents bowling skills, which are equal to those of little children and the severely handicapped.
And they’ll even throw in his shoes!

Now, co-owners Jean Montgomery and Bob DiVentura are putting Lane 21 up for sale through an online auction on Ebay, beginning November 13 and ending November 23 at 9:00 PM EST. “We are offering this piece of history to the lucky bidder,” said Montgomery. “It is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to own one of the most talked about bowling lanes in political history.”

Not only are they offering lane #21, but also the neighboring lane (#22), the gutters, 2 pin setters, computer scoring system, and the bowling circle complete with the chairs sat on by Obama. “We’ll even throw in the shoes and bowling ball that Obama used,” said DiVentura.

The fully functional lane will be disassembled, shipped, and reassembled at the location of the buyer’s choice. “It is a true collector’s item that the buyer can be sure no one else can claim a duplicate,” said DiVentura.

Ugh. I realize this is all very unique, but owning a stranger’s shoes just really creeps us out, even if they are the President’s. Yeah, Obama wore ‘em, but so did a million other guys. You are bringing the potential foot fungus of a million Pennsylvanians into your home with this auction. Gross.
