Revenge games are pretty sweet for athletes who’ve been chucked out like yesterday’s trash. This goes double if they’re a deciding factor in giving their team a win, or in the case of Geovanni heading back to Manchester City after being dumped by them last season, preventing the former team from getting one. This free kick from the Brazilian had the right lucky bounce off a Man City wall that allowed the 30 yard shot to eek past the keeper and steal two points away from City. Now, the team is threatening to can their manager thanks to this latest non-win, and it’s all because of Geovanni’s game tying score.
