Goal Of The Day: Maxi Rodriguez Can’t Save Atletico Madrid With His Great Goal

Ooh, yesterday wasn’t a good one for Atletico Madrid. Maxi Rodriguez hit this ridiculous score and was about tow pull off the Champions League win when disaster struck. Going after a ball in the fourth minute of stoppage time, Stephen Gerrard was awarded a penalty that he would convert to tie the score, and the game. AM protested it’s little Spaniard hearts out, but to no avail. But just because that didn’t work out for them doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy Rodriguez’s score that literally had them leading the whole game.
