Sad And Buried—Ex-Playboy Model And WAG Amy Leigh Barnes Stabbed In Her London Apartment

When we heard what happened to model and girlfriend to a few EPL players Amy Leigh Barnes, we kinda got this creepy feeling we were watching Match Point again. The 19-year-old Barnes was stabbed several times and killed in her apartment over the weekend. Not to get all O.J. on you guys, but let’s see who the police probably checked in on first.

[Barnes] had also dated the Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy. Players on her social networking websites include Fraizer Campbell, of Tottenham Hotspur, Phil Jagielka, of Everton, and Leroy Lita, of Norwich City.

[Barnes] left school to study performing arts at Pendleton College in Salford and taught drama to young people at the Phoenix charity in Bolton… [and] worked on modelling assignments for Nuts, Playboy and Cosmopolitan and was a finalist in the Miss British Isles modelling competition in 2007 and in last year’s Model of the Year competition. She also worked for the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
