Cesec Fabregas Loves A.C. Milan… He Even Writes It In His Pee-Chee Folder

Oh brother, have Cesc Fabregas and Cristinano Ronaldo been sharing more than just hair gel tips lately? The Arsenal midfielder has been talking up a storm since Arsne Wenger made him the team captain last week. But it hasn’t been about team formations, but other teams. The most notable has been A.C. Milan, who people have brushed back as just talk, but apparently Fab has not. He talked about A.C. Milan with reverence yesterday, and said he’d love to play there eventually. So of course this is a ploy to get more money out of the Arsenal brass.

“If I were to come to Italy, I would choose Milan without a doubt… In my opinion, the Rossoneri are the side that play the best football in Italy. There are so many strong sides in Italy — Inter, Juventus and Roma for example — but they seem to rely too much on their star names.

While those three teams struggle when they lose their big names, Milan’s strength is based on the unit. I think it’s a winning mentality and a philosophy that I share with the way I play.”

Doesn’t this sound a little too much like Cristiano talking about Real Madrid during the offseason? It’s not like he’s wearing a shirt that’s so blatantly tacky that it’s awesome like CR… but maybe that’s a good thing.
