Juan Roman Riquelme Likes Yelling At Little Kids And Starting Brawls

So who’s the last athlete you heckled? Hopefully it wasn’t Boca Junior’s Juan Roman Riquelme, who has a tendency to be mouthy anyway. But he took it a step further during his game against Racing Club when he called out a teenager who’d been heckling him from the stands. Thing is, it was a Juniors fan who had been hurling insults at home, and thanks to Riquelme, had to start hurling fists as well when the crowd descended on the teen badgering their star. Not that JRR had any remorse about it.

“I didn’t do anything bad. I just shouted when my team scored a goal. There are people who pay to get in and think they can insult us for two hours. So many things go on in this country and I think it’s daft to talk about this matter.”
