Whas happened in sports last night.
- NBA: Los Angeles used a stout defense in the last three minutes of their game against the Boston Celtics yesterday to shut them down, and help them end the Celt’s team-record 19-game winning streak. Kobe Bryant was typical Kobe, knocking down 27 points, nine rebounds and five assists, but Pau Gasol stopped sucking long enough towards the end, scoring five points and helping out on D to help his team lock up the win. - NFL: With the big game against Philadelphia this weekend, you’d better bet that Tony Romo was going to be on the practice field, injuries be dammed. [Dallas News]
- Serie A: David Beckham got presented to the fans of his new AC Milan squad. Kinda like a debutante coming out part, except with more goldenballs. [USA Today]
- TV: ESPN’s Chris Berman is enjoying his 30th year sticking it to leather. [Yahoo!]
- NFL: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers choose their DB Coach Raheem Morris to replace Defensive Coordinator Monte Kiffin, who’s headed to Tennessee to join his son Lane. [TBO.com]
