Miami’s Father Albert Cutie Goes On CNN To Call Playboy ‘Hypocritical’ Over ‘Virgin’ María Florencia Onori Photos

At this point, Playboy should just quit the coy act about the cover to their Mexican-edition December issue featuring the María Florencia Onori photos of her dressing up as the Virgin Mary. Because seriously people, she’s dressing up like the Virgin de Guadalupe. It’s gotten a whole bunch of people in a tizzy–obviously–and it’s in the zeitgeist thanks to the time of year. How do we know? Because CNN took the time in between telling us how broke we are to interview a famous priest/author from Miami, Father Albert Cutie, who along with the whole broke thing, told us how we’re going to hell for looking at those pics. Man, Obama better work his magic soon… we’ve got nothin’ going right for us.

[A] stained-glass window and the veil that looks like that, certainly there’s a reference to Mary. Whoever tells you there isn’t is simply being hypocritical or not very honest. And that’s what I don’t like about the statement from Playboy magazine. I think that they timed it not only with the Virgin of Guadalupe… but also with the month of December. How many nativity scenes are out there this time of the year? How many times is Mary a central figure in this whole celebration? And this is offensive. This is very offensive. It’s blasphemous.

Yeah, but aren’t most things sacrilegious nowadays? Eating shellfish, working on Sunday, having a good looking Father named Cutie. So what if a guy wants to whack off to pictures of a hot girl playing dress up, and we think that’s the victim here–the kinky masturbator. As long as he’s not doing it in church, isn’t Playboy really doing God’s work here?
