Seven Year-Old Tennis Prodigy Amanda Anisimova Is Ready For Her Close Up

Sixty pound, seven year-old Amanada Anismova isn’t just tearing up the USTA’s girls’ 10-and-under rankings in Florida, (ranked at 27 with a 20-14 record this year), she’s pretty intimidating in front of the camera, too. In a recent interview she did with the Miami Herald she shows us the numerous tennis awards she’s been racking up since since she was five (she regularly plays–and beats–10-12 year-olds) and recalls this one time…in Coral Gables…when she (surprise) kicked this girls ass in tennis. Ana tells everyone she wants to be like Maria Sharapova when she grows up. She’s already got the tennis groan down pat. And judging by the blonde locks and the attitude, she’ll be selling Tag watches before we know it. Also her best friend is a turtle.
