Welcome To The Drug War

This morning, while we were still shocked at the hiring of Juande Ramos by Real Madrid, something else shocked us—and it wasn’t another Noelia video, but another released by the LA Times. It shows three people getting gunned down in Monterrey, Mexico while shopping for jewelery. In particular they were searcing for an off-duty police commander and his wife, Benjamin Espinosa and Griselda Melendez, who are the two in the middle of the shop when this goes down. The collateral damage—and every shootout had some—is the security guard at the door, a man who took the job to save up for his daughter’s quinces and feared everyday that something would pop off.
