Chicago Fire Draftee Richard Jata Makes Being Picked At The End Worth It

So the MLS Super Draft was last week (what, you didn’t know?), and it didn’t get kicking until the end when the Chicago Fire picked Campbell forward and Matthew McConaughey look alike Richard Jata with the third-to-last pick. Well, things perked up considerably as Jata joked about being the last player in the room not picked and how much time he was going to take, regardless of anyone’s time considering how long he’d been waiting in the audience. Then it got a little dusty when he almost broke down before thanking his dad and the rest of his family… but he was saved by a phone call! Which gave us the funny again.
