‘Embarrassed’ Cristiano Ronaldo Too Shy To Meet His Sports Idol Tiger Woods

They both wear red. They both win. They both have fabulous teeth. Cristiano Ronaldo and Tiger Woods are both amazing athletes who share a lot in common, so maybe that’s why the Manchester United superstar is so keen on wanting to meet him. When he was asked who he wanted to meet, Ronaldo mentioned that he’d met all the footballers he wanted to, players like Maradona, Pele and Zidane. But the one man he still hasn’t met is Tiger Woods, which is surprising to us since they were both part of last year’s ESPN’s Espy awards. Sure, maybe the fact CR7 was on crutches limited his hunt, but if you’re so into meeting someone, you make that happen. So either he’s lying or Tiger was avioding him. With Cristiano Ronaldo, you just never know.

“In terms of footballers, I have met everyone,” he said. “But I’d like to meet Tiger Woods. He’s phenomenal… My golf is very bad. I don’t like to play golf but I like to watch it.”

So for those of you keeping score at home, bingo and golf are the world’s reigning top soccer player’s hobbies. It’s all starting to make sense now.
