Lamar Odom’s Crotch Grabs ‘Offends’ Clippers; Clippers ‘Play’ Offends L.A.

Well this is one Google search we never thought we’d have to run: “Lamar Odom+crotch+Clippers.” But because the Los Angeles Clippers have nothing better to do like, oh you know, fixed their horrible, horrible team, they’ve filed a complaint with the league that makes them look like a bunch of wusses their play could never do. During last Wednesday’s intra-city game against the Clips, the Lakers’ Odom hung on the rim with one hand and grabbed his crotch with the other after dunking in the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 108-97 victory. This apparently got the Clippers’ front office in a tizzy, and what we imagine, a fainting spell of epic proportions preceded by the group putting the backs of their fingers to their foreheads and gasping “Oh my Heavens!”

No disciplinary action has been handed out, and none is expected, but that didn’t stop Odom from sounding hurt when asked about it Saturday.

“No, somebody’s wrong” he said when informed the Clippers had complained about his actions. “I have no hard feelings toward the Clippers. Oh, man. That’s too bad. I wouldn’t do anything like that. Nah.”

Yeah Lamar Odom, who was drafted by the Clippers in ‘99, seems like a pretty genuine fellow who left all his bad attitude back in Miami. It’s a new Odom era, and we guess, a crotch-grab free one at that. Well, at least crotch grabs aimed at other teams.
