Maradona Suggests Carlos Tevez, Kun Aguero Sign With Internazionale

Apparently Diego Maradona’s agenda in Manchester this past weekend went past acting as Chelsea’s alarm clock. He was actually there to check in with his prize pupil Carlos Tevez, who is all of a sudden in peril of losing his lofty perch at Manchester United and in international circles (not like that Messi who’s all of a sudden Mr. Big Shot). So Hand of God decided to tell Tevez all dad like that he should go somewhere he’d be appreciated… and that place is with Serie A champs Internazionale, Ronaldo’s old team. And while he’s on the subject, his grandbaby’s daddy’s Kun Aguero better pack up and head down there, too. Jesus, what did Inter give Maradona to make this push?

“I saw Manchester United win (3-0 against Chelsea) without Tevez. This isn’t good for him,” Maradona was quoted as saying… “Certain episodes are certainly bringing closer his exit. Italy and Inter in particular would be excellent solutions. What’s more, his contract is running out, which makes it easier to change team.”

Maradona, who is in Italy to watch Inter’s Coppa Italia tie against Genoa on Tuesday, said Atlético Madrid’s Argentina striker Sergio Agüero should also consider transferring to Inter. Agüero is in a relationship with Maradona’s daughter Giannina, who is expecting their first child next month.

Ha! All that’s missing from that image is Maradona grabbing Kun by the ear and dragging him to the airport. At least Carlos has an out, in that he’s in no way related to him and Maradona’s fear he’d eat him past midnight.
