Whas happened in sports last night.

  • NBA: It’s hard to believe, but in the history of the Atlanta Hawks franchise, they have never swept the Bulls. But like the inaguration yesterday, a new change is coming in the NBA because these aren’t your daddy’s Hawks. Mike Bibby had a season-high 31 points as Atlanta moved to 25-16. Yeah, seriously, nine games over .500. Wow. Hawks 105, Bulls 102 [AJC]
  • Golf: Tiger Woods… gutless? [Sportsline]
  • Football: Does this kid know what’s written on his back? [The Big Lead]
  • La Liga: Real Madrid and racist fans go together like peas and carrots apparently. [The Beautiful Game]
  • College: They may be the Harvard of the west, but Stanford’s endowment doesn’t have the same bite as now they have to cut sports teams from their roster to save on costs. [Sporting News]
  • NFL: Voters in the City of Industry have okayed a plan to build a stadium to lure an NFL team. Nice, the Field of Dreams approach. [Yahoo!]
