Naked Skiier Left Dangling Upside Down On Chairlift When Things Go Horribly Wrong In Vail

In an extreme example of why we fear doing anything “outdoorsy,” a man and his son (we hope) were on a chairlift heading up the slopes in Vail, Colorado. The lift attendant, who we’re sure was doing something “extreme” like texting his girlfriend, didn’t put the man’s security bar all the way down. The of course led to the hilarity… awful, awful hilarity… that you see here. The unidentified man fell through the gap of the lift, where his left ski got stuck to the bottom of the chair… and his pants did, too. He was there for 15 minutes before some genius (probably the same one texting) decided to back the chairs up and bring the man back to “base” to get him off the chair and into some pants. Of course fellow skiiers, in lieu of helping the man, decided to take pictures of the incident. Sometimes we love technology more than other times. This is one of those times.
