Narcoterrorists Attack Monterrey Televisa Station With Bullets & Grenade
7 January 2009, 3:00 PM. By Alex Ferreyra

Narcotics traffickers shot up and threw a grenade at the Monterrey, Nuevo Leon affiliate of Televisa in Mexico causing minimal property damage and no personal injury. The attack happened during a newscast last night causing reporters to ask for police help on the air. Attached to the explosive was a note presumably written by narcotics traffickers which read, “Stop reporting only about us. Also report about the narco officials.” The attack is seen as a threat to mass media and marks a new low in the terror that holds the entire country of Mexico hostage. Police are investigating.
