So what does it take for Manny Pacquiao to stop acting like a whiny ass baby? Um… about $12 million bucks should do it. That’s the sum ($1 million more than he was paid of the De La Hoya fight) that convinced him that maybe he should fight Ricky Hatton on May 2 at the MGM Grand. When Bob Schaefer, Ricky Hatton’s promoter, said that the Filipino champion’s refusal to sign on to the fight earlier this week caused him to cancel the fight, Top Rank’s Bob Arum apparently had a heart to heart with the Pac Man. Actually, we think it was more of a wallet-to-wallet conversation.

“I think everyone [on Pacquiao's negotiating team] finally came to the realization of where we are in the world and where this economy is,” Arum said.

Arum passed along the news to Schaefer, who didn’t want to commit to anything until he had seen a signed contract and spoken to Hatton.

Whatever. We still think Antonio Margarito should get the F outta TJ.
