Miami and Los Angeles are pretty much the same city, the difference being varying degrees of humidity. They’re both star driven Metropolises with gorgeous people who either work in the city’s main industries (entertainment, drugs) or are screwing them. So what is Lakers owner Dr. Jerry Buss’ major malfunction? The Heat are not only honoring Dwyane Wade for his heroic battle against the terrorists by winning basketball gold in Beijing, but also Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway, who helped American win the gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Games. Do the Lakers, or any other team, do the same? Nope. Apparently the Lakers are too crowded up there in the Staples Center rafters to put two jersey for Kobe and Magic than honor their gold medals. Seriously, would it kill them to take down a Los Angeles Avengers or Clippers banner (we think they have one) to honor the men who took time off their busy summer schedules spending their millions of dollars honor their country by dunking on Albanians? For shame, Lakers, for shame.
