Tijuana Too Dangerous For U.S. Marines

The drug wars of Mexico are more dangerous, even, than the wars in the Middle East because Marines have been officially banned from crossing our border to the south. A new order was handed down from Lt. Gen. Samuel Helland at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California over Christmas that says Marines cannot go to Tijuana for R and R because it’s too dangerous. The order was extended indefinitely this week after 843 deaths have been reported in the border city due to insidious narco violence that is, apparently, unstoppable even by the “deadliest weapon in the world.”
